What's the rationale behind what looks like a very expensive system vs. traditional compactor?

Do you envision putting fluid-preserved collections in a system like that too?

We are considering something like the Rotomat or  Lean Lift system from Hänel as a storage system for some of the NH collections at the Royal BC Museum.
