Hi, Andy.
I sent the message below to NHCOLL but in case it did not arrive, I have posted it again (this time without attachments in case the listserv does not accept them). I am a member of SPNHC, having worked in the museum field in years past. I attended the meeting last year in New Haven but only presented a limited amount of material. I also deal in antiquarian natural history books and much of my vendor table was occupied by these at the meeting. Thank you for the update on the South Dakota meeting. Seems like a good opportunity to solicit show our products to the mineralogy folks.
Best,
Jay

Hi, Doug and other listserve subscribers.
You are correct in that we do not have an online catalog. We only produce trays and drawers. We can custom design ANY dimensions required that would suit your needs. Unit prices vary by quantity (100, 500, 1000, 2500, 5000, 10,000). The most frequently ordered sizes are:
Size 1 (2 3/8 x 1 5/8 x 7/8): ~pricing range $0.50 to $0.63
Size 2 (2 3/8 x 3 5/16 x 7/8): ~pricing range $0.62 to $0.76
Size 3 (4 3/4 x 3 3/8 x 7/8): ~pricing range $0.72 to $0.88
Size 4 (7 5/16 x 4 15/16 x 7/8): ~pricing range $0.93 to $1.19
Size 5 (9 5/8 x 6 7/8 x 7/8): ~pricing range $1.59 to $1.91
... and so on. If custom sized trays are desired, pricing for different sized trays is relatively the same as those listed so long as the new dimensions approximate the dimensions given. Addition of lids or tray liners (ethafoam or plastazote foam typically used for entomology specimens) are extra.
Our museum quality archival trays are custom-manufactured, rigid, unbuffered, and acid-free with neutral pH. They come pre-assembled (not flat and self-folding), overwrapped, and are constructed of glazed white corrugated cardboard. Trays are also nested and align neatly in straight rows to facilitate long-term storage and preservation. Trays can be lined with plastazote or ethafoam, unbleached cotton, or polyester batting for use with delicate specimens. Lids are optionally available for better protection from ambient environment damage and use in layered storage.
We also produce cabinet drawers that fit various cabinet and drawer manufacturer specifications (Cornell, California Academy, U.S. National Museum, Southwest Solutions, Lane, Viking, etc.). Like our specimen trays, drawers come with multiple options (knobs, card holders, finish color). Please contact me directly for information on cabinet drawers.
I have attached and pasted images of our products and can also send them separately if you have any difficulty viewing the images. I can provide additional information on potential uses, materials composition, archival specifications, comparisons to other trays on the market, etc. upon request. Specific pricing varies by volume and size dimensions so please contact me directly for pricing on trays that suit your individual needs. Some institutions have utilized individual trays produced in larger sizes (e.g. 48" x 24" by 3.5") as sliding drawers in and of themselves. I can arrange to send samples at no cost to see first-hand if you desire.
Thanks for inquiring. Please contact me directly to place an order or for additional information.
Best,
Jay

Hi Jay
I think there are a number of folks on this listserv who would be interested in more details on your products. Would you mind posting these for all to see?
You may also consider exhibiting your products at the annual Society for the Preservation of natural History collections (SPNHC) meeting as a vendor, this year to be held in Rapid City, South Dakota. More details regarding vendor information should be posted on the conference website soon.
Thanks
Andy
