The United States National Herbarium is recruiting for the position of Collections Manager.  This is a full-time collections management position with supervisory responsibility for the Core Collections Management (CCM) team. Primary responsibilities will include managing day-to-day operation of a major herbarium that is world-wide in scope, communicating with colleagues and other herbaria regarding services and collaborations, coordinating with other science Departments in the Museum in planning for and managing of collections, and supervising the activities of 7 full time experienced collections staff.  This is not a research position, nor is it a precursor to one.  We are seeking a professional collections manager. Only U.S. citizens may apply.
