[Nhcoll-l] The Affects of Smoke and Soot to Taxidermy

Hello all,

 

Does anyone know of any studies that have been conducted on the long term
/short term affects of smoke and soot to taxidermy specimens? Also, the
affects exposure and treatment  has on the insured value of the pieces?
