[Nhcoll-l] Annual Fitzgerald and Christine Allen Travel Grants

The Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collections (SPNHC) has a Travel Grant program designed to assist members with the costs of attending the Society's annual meeting. Two grants are available to attend the 2014 meeting ( http://www.museumwales.ac.uk/spnhc2014/ );


*         The Fitzgerald Travel Grant consists of a total of $3,000 is allocated to the program and grants will be for a minimum of $750 each. A reminder that the deadline of this grant is fast approaching - 1st March 2014.

*         The Christine Allen Travel Grant is a single grant of $750 available for attendance at the 2014 meeting of the Society in Cardiff, Wales. As this is a new announcement the deadline is later than the Fitzgerald Grant above - 31st March 2014.

An exciting programme is developing for the conference. Abstract submission is now open on the website - http://www.museumwales.ac.uk/spnhc2014/submissions/ -  and we hope to have registration opening during the course of the next week.
