I have been working on an interesting collection of over 100 bird stomach contents and tongues collected mainly by Van Tyne on Barro Colorado Island in the mid 1920's. These were in fluid, but dried out a long time ago. My inclination is to leave the stomach contents dry, but does anyone have any advice about the tongues? Should I put them back into alcohol?

Also, if anyone is interested in looking at these, let me know. The information will be added to VertNet the next time we update. Search for prep type- fluid, and stomach for prep description.
