[Nhcoll-l] fungus preservation

Fungal cultures, presumably growing on agar in petri plates, should be placed in an incubator or plant dryer at 30-40C to dry them completely.  They will look like fuzzy potato chips once the agar dries up.  For display, I would recommend keeping the cultures alive, but with the lid of the petri plate on.
