[Nhcoll-l] pre-Act tiger?

[Opitz, Cindy]

A 1950 alum participated in a tiger hunt in 1953 and has a tiger skin he'd like to donate to our collection now.
We're interested in seeing it move from private into public hands, so are inclined to accept it. If we do, would any permit or permissions be required? It would be traveling from across state lines, within the US, where it has been since 1953.
