Understanding and Implementing Current Environmental Legislation: Biology, Borders and Ownership



Please distribute to any colleagues who may be interested. The programme will be of interest to anyone whocollects biological specimens which they want to bring back for research and deposition in institutional collections.  Under the CBD, all organisms fall under the sovereign rights of the states in which they occur. Learn how to navigate a sometimes impenetrable forest of regulations and requirements and obtain a permit.

Environmental legislation impacts on the work of all involved with trading in, owning and managing collections of organisms, both living and preserved.
