[Nhcoll-l] Shipping NH loans

Greetings all,

I am curious, and for no other reason, if anyone knows of natural history oriented collections procedures within museums, universities or other institutions that differ from the general practice of 'lender pays the shipping costs of the loan going out, borrower pays the cost of returning the loan'. I presume that most if not all still maintain those same practices? Perhaps with exception when the specimens are intended for display or exhibit rather than research?
