it says Humanities - but please read the description - very relevant to 
engaging citizen scientists in natural history collections data 
mobilization and enhancement. Also, some scholarships are available 
(deadline May 1).
> In this course, we will explore the findings of case studies from 
> around the world and across disciplines. Participants in will explore 
> successes and lessons learned in projects in humanities contexts, 
> cultural heritage organizations, and citizen science. Together, we 
> will unpack best practice in designing, managing, evolving, and 
> completing participatory projects. We’ll assess the challenges of 
> recruiting and supporting participants, as well as project workflows 
> and managing data.
Meghan Ferriter (who runs the Smithsonian Transcription Center) will be 
teaching this week-long class at HILT

of June.  In the past, participants taking this course ranged from 
librarians and archivists to museum school staff to graduate students 
and faculty researchers.
