Hello Amos,
Other than the advice already given, I suggest that you try to install
monitoring devices (dataloggers) in your exhibit spaces starting now.
Spaces may still be modified, but given that the building already exists,
the collected data will start to give you an idea of the environmental
conditions in it (relative humidity and temperature). That, plus anything
you can do to prevent entrance of pests (from mosquito nets on windows and
checking ventilation and drainage openings to recommending the installation
of doors and of any IPM measure you can), will give you a start.
If the spaces are too open, there may be need to consider regular fogging
or similar. In any case, you should always have at least one means of
response handy in case you do find an active infestation - we use freezing.
