data recording media is a new CCI web resource designed to assist heritage
professionals and institutions. This resource is now available for free on
our website. It presents key aspects of caring for these types of electronic
media in heritage collections, based on the principles of preventive
conservation and risk management. It also provides information on the causes
of damage to audio, video and data recording media.

 

Keep an eye out this spring for the release of CCI Technical Bulletin 31 The
Digitization of VHS Video Tapes.
