[Nhcoll-l] Two cryogenic questions

Hi all

Two questions related to cryogenic facilities:


1.       Do you have a brand of cryo gloves that you like or have had good long term success with - both well-constructed with good thermal protection?  We are looking for mid-arm length for liquid nitrogen

2.       We have toyed with the idea of putting blocks of dry ice or regular ice in the empty portions to load the freezer in the case of an emergency to slow the rate of temperature loss. Does anyone employ any strategies for keeping temperature in a -80 freezer that is only partially full?
