[Nhcoll-l] Barcodes

For over five years now, we have been using the application BardecodeFiler to rename our image files as the specimen barcode number with great success.  It isn't free ($249 per license), but it works very well with our herbarium specimen images with Code 39 barcode labels.  The software will not rename DNGs, however, we use a PowerShell script to rename the DNGs based on the renamed JPEGs.
