[Nhcoll-l] Papers on long-term preservation of dry arthropods

Folks,

Can anyone point me to papers on the long-term preservation of dry and wet chitin-shelled specimens (principally crabs and other arthropods)? I'm particularly interested in the pros and cons of stabilizing old dry specimens by placing them in fluid.
