Presenters Erica Krimmel (Assistant Collections Manager, Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County), Andrew Doll (Assistant Collections Manager, Zoology Department, Denver Museum of Nature and Science) and Teresa Mayfield (Collections Assistant, Division of Genomic Resources, Museum of Southwestern Biology) will provide tips for collections data preparation, cover applications for data cleaning and transformation such as OpenRefine, as well as demonstrate data validation tools embedded within Arctos. Time for questions and discussion will follow the demonstration.
