Dear Colleagues,

The local organizing committee, a partnership between the Otago Museum and the University of Otago, is honored to host the 33rd annual meeting of the Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collections, August 25 - September 1, 2018. For the first time the meeting will be held in the Southern Hemisphere in Dunedin, New Zealand. It will also be the first time that the meeting will be jointly held with the Biodiversity Information Standards community, TDWG.

SPNHC will be awarding Christine Allen, Jean de Mouthe, and Fitzgerald Travel grants for the 2018 meeting. Registration
Early bird registration will commence on Monday March 12th 2018. Please note that registration includes a membership fee. Be sure that your membership is up to date before registering for the conference. Membership will incur a fee of $75 if you choose to renew at the time of conference registration. If you are already a member of SPNHC or TDWG, the membership fee of $75 is deducted from the registration fee. Please note that all $ figures are US. Payment will be in $NZ with an approximate conversion rate given.
