UMOC is listed in the ASIH Symbolic Code list as University of Missouri - https://asih.org/standard-symbolic-codes/umoc - however it does mention that it is obsolete. Not sure where they would have gone if at all. They didn't come to us even though we have some Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) stuff from Colombia.

Subject: [Nhcoll-l] UMOC specimens?

Hello NHCOLLers!

Happy 2020. I'm trying to find information on several specimens listed with UMOC numbers. They were all collected in mid-1970's. University of Missouri-Columbia doesn't have a collection/museum as far as I can tell. Does anyone know where or to whom I can turn? Thanks in advance!
