Colleagues:

Given all of the discussions about COVID-19 and collections care, I wanted
to share a paper that was published today in BioScience
<https://academic.oup.com/bioscience/advance-article/doi/10.1093/biosci/biaa064/5857068>!
The paper makes the case for investing in collection infrastructure to
support research on emerging infectious diseases, such as COVID-19. It is
available through open access.

If you would rather read a popular article about the paper, we also were
able to connect with The Conversation
<https://theconversation.com/museums-preserve-clues-that-can-help-scientists-predict-and-analyze-future-pandemics-141175>.
It really is an insightful piece.

Take care,
Cody
