There is an effort underway being led by the American Society of Association Executives to ensure that non-profit associations, including scientific societies, are included in the coronavirus economic recovery bill now being considered in the Senate.  Letters to members of Congress are needed now.  If adopted, societies would be eligible to participate in the $35B loan program.  Other efforts are also underway, but this is an important piece of the package.
