[Nhcoll-l] is polyurethane hazardous for stuffed collections

Hi!

Taxidermists have used polyurethane to stuff mammal and bird collection – is it safe for stuffed collections?
I read that it can give off acidic vapors (formaldehyde). What can taxidermist use and what to avoid?
