We are pleased to announce that our new book, Best Practices in the Preservation and Management of Fluid-Preserved Biological Collections is now available for purchase in the UK and Europe from Archetype books and in North America from University Products. The book provides guiding principles and management strategies for small, medium, and large collections.

Based on our collective practical experience and an extensive literature review, the book provides baselines for optimal storage and long-term maintenance of fluid-preserved collections in three categories based on collection size, usage, and resources. The text includes specific recommendations, extensive comments, and a glossary of terms.
