[Nhcoll-l] NHMD collections portal

Dear all NhColl readers,

Last year the Natural History Museum of Denmark (NHMD) implemented a new virtual collections portal, https://collections.snm.ku.dk/en.

The portal is designed to service both the international, scientific users and the Danish public. It is based on information from our Specify database and channeled through GBIF, meaning that all NHMD data are also available and searchable on GBIF.org. The NHMD portal, however, is arranged differently including deep zoom in photos, IUCN status, maps and trivial names.

We would very much like NhColl users to have a look at the portal and give us your feed back, positive and negative. We are up and running with the first version, but we would like to have response on what to improve/clarify/change/add in our future development.
