Survey on exchange practices and publication flows within and among 
natural science institutions:

Last summer the CETAF ePublishing Working Group sent out their survey on 
exchange practices and publication flows within and among natural 
science institutions in a first round. Currently they are starting a 
second round of distributing the survey to reach more colleagues and 
hear back from a wider range of institutions located worldwide.

 From the introduction to the survey:
The usage of publication exchanges between natural science institutions 
appears to turn outdated in the context of the increase in born-digital, 
e-only and open access publications. The CETAF E-Publishing Working 
Group aims to understand the landscape of natural science institutions 
with publication exchange programs and how they have been changing over 
the past years. The purpose is to evaluate the potential for additional 
agreements and collaborations between institutions. A glossary is 
provided at the end of the survey defining important terms.

Please forward the survey to colleagues responsible for libraries, 
publications and publication exchanges in your environment.
