Setting up a monitoring program can really aid in protecting the collections, and if you know what you had for past infestations then there are pheromones that can be deployed additionally to help. Insects Limited is a great resource for purchasing monitors and pheromones in the USA, they are located in Indiana and can also help you figure out how to set up a monitoring program if you need help. https://www.insectslimited.com/museums and https://www.insectslimited.com/store

Could someone suggest a good text for Pest Management in Herbaria?  We have a large collection (650,000) that is currently being protected by a large burlap bag of Napthalene.  It has had infestations in the past and I am currently taking inventory to see if there are any issues.
