Hi David,
arsenic surely is but may not be the only concern. Thus the pre-release of the MUSA-sampling might be interesting; we used this with great success in our biocide assessment at the LIB in Hamburg.
The stnadardised sampling did not only allow sampling of working spaces and objects, but also includes a component with dust traps to record deposited and stirred up biocides in storage or working rooms.

We used the wipe samples also successfully in our fluid-preserved collections and recorded heavy metal traces on the working spaces (rehousing of historic fluid-preserved specimens).
Hope this is useful

Can anyone recommend a suitable arsenic test kit for sampling taxidermy? Most of the kits on the market are for testing water. I found one that also tests soil but the company can't verify that it's accurate for arsenic in taxidermy.
Thanks for any leads!
Dave
