iDigBio’s Digitization Academy<https://digitizationacademy.org/> is pleased to announce our 2025 course offerings.

The Digitization Academy delivers online courses that are focused on a range of activities relevant to biodiversity collections and capturing digital data about biodiversity. Our courses aim to empower participants with skills and knowledge to advance digitization of biodiversity data. 2025 Digitization Academy course offerings:

Introducción a la Digitalización de Especímenes de Biodiversidad

Curso ofrecido principalmente en español. Course offered primarily in Spanish.

25 al 28 de agosto de 2025

Introduction to Biodiversity Specimen Digitization

August 4–August 7, 2025
September 29–October 29 (Mondays and Wednesdays excluding Oct. 20, 22)

Digital Imaging for Biodiversity Collections

July 21–July 24, 2025
November 3–December 3 (Mondays and Wednesdays excluding Nov. 24, 26)


  *
Public Participation in Digitization of Biodiversity Collections

December 15–December 18, 2025
