Colleagues,

I have what might be considered an off-the-wall question for this group.

In the summer of 1992 Columbus, Ohio hosted an international flower show called Ameriflora, which was supposed to attract visitors from all over the world. One of the attractions was going to be a large metal (stainless steel?) skeleton of a dinosaur buried in sand that kids could "excavate". I was consulted about it early on but, if I remember correctly, none of my suggestions were followed, as even somewhat accurate replicas were deemed too complicated to manufacture.

The event was somewhat of a flop, and all the attractions and hardware were auctioned off that October. Does anyone know where that skeleton ended up? Any suggestions on who to ask?

Cheers.

Dale
