Greetings SPNHC community,
Happy spring! I am conducting *a brief survey for natural history museum
professionals <https://forms.gle/GhR7Z17Y5cuHmsex8>* regarding NAGPRA
implementation and culturally informed natural history collections care
knowledge. Because a similar survey circulated broadly to the museum
community in March, the working group leading the Indigenous Care Guide
Project <https://sarweb.org/iarc/icc/> graciously shared their results so
the above survey is a distilled version intended for those of us working in
natural history settings. Results of both surveys will be shared at SPNHC
2025 in Lawrence, Kansas on Thursday, May 29th during the Repatriation of
Natural History Specimens: NAGPRA and Beyond session.
The survey should take 5 minutes to complete. Any omissions or errors are
my own.
Please share with your natural history professional networks!
Thank you in advance,
Hayley
