[Nhcoll-l] Le Parfait gaskets

I think this one's been addressed, but can anyone chime in on using standard Le Parfait gaskets with ethanol? If there's some issue, can one get e. g. neoprene substitutes?
For context, we have 70-year-old Ball gaskets that are rock hard but still holding. Of course, we replace them if we have to open the jar, but otherwise they are very reliable.
