Not explicitly with regards to isotopic analyses (I too struggled and
failed to find suitable literature on this), but rather from results of my
own trials following a tip from my graduate advisory team. The available
literature is mainly wity regards to protein degradation in general when
tissue is preserved in formalin or ethanol. Some of these include:
