[Nhcoll-l] Natural Science Collections Valuation and Risk Management - Request for Information

Dear Colleagues,

The Natural Science Collections Alliance (NSCA) Programming Committee is continuing to seek examples of institutions that have completed collection valuations and/or developed risk management plans. We are particularly interested in learning about experiences that involved institutional leadership approval and consultation with insurance providers, legal counsel, or other relevant stakeholders. If you or your colleagues have participated in such a process and are willing to share your experiences, please email programs at nscalliance.org<mailto:programs at nscalliance.org> with your name, institution, and a brief (1–2 sentence) description of the nature and scope of the valuation and/or risk management work completed. If you know of individuals or institutions with relevant experience who may not be subscribed to NHCOLL, we would appreciate recommendations for direct outreach.
