Dear Ester,

occasionally, such jars are sold for home decoration in DIY stores, but usually the glass quality is ... rather very simple soda-lime glass of low quality. We made a similar experience with full glass aquarium tanks that were unevenly blown into the mold and thickness especially at the corners of less then 2 mm at the corners (but + 1.0 mm in the middle).

DWK (Duran/Wheaton/Kimble, a Schott Company) is producing some formats, which are available via lab vendors
