[Nhcoll-l] Natural Science Collections Valuation and Risk Management - Request for Information

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Natural Science Collections Alliance Programming Committee, we are looking for case studies in which institutions have undergone a collection valuation and/or risk management planning process. Specifically, we are most interested in those processes that involved approval from the institution's leadership and buy-in from or consultation with insurance or other legal representatives. If you or some of your colleagues have undergone such a process and are willing to share some details and insights around your experiences, we would love to hear from you. Please email programs at nscalliance.org<mailto:programs at nscalliance.org> with your name, institution, and a short (1-2 sentence) description of the nature and scope of the valuation/risk management process undertaken. We would also welcome recommendations for individuals to reach out to directly who may not be on this list. Thank you very much for your attention, and we look forward to hearing from you!
