[SAC-FAST] FAST subjects for complex concepts

Dear FAST subcommittee members:

I am attaching two files to this message.  The first is the list of 
"complex concepts" with the FAST headings that some of you submitted to 
me.  I have put responses from different people in different colors. 
However, there is also space between sets of responses; so if you can only 
print in black, you should still be able to see separate responses.  The 
responses are not identified as to whom they are from; so don't feel you 
have to own up to anything!!  Comments that accompanied particular 
responses are included in parentheses or square brackets.  There are a few 
topics that no one tried to assign FAST headings to.

The second file is one created by Lynn El Hoshy and Pat Kuhr.  They 
assigned LCSH headings to all the complex concepts.  Each of them assigned 
headings for half the concepts and then traded and commented on each 
other's work before sending me a consolidated file. (Let's have a big 
round of applause for their work!)

Comparison of sets of FAST headings for the topics that more than one 
person tackled is very instructive.  It's also interesting to compare the 
FAST headings with the LCSH headings.  There's a lot here to make for a 
lively discussion at the meeting!  And if someone wants to work on the 
topics that no one assigned FAST headings for, that could be interesting, 
too.
