From david.joffe at tshwanedje.com Fri Jul 13 12:30:15 2018 From: david.joffe at tshwanedje.com (David Joffe) Date: Fri, 13 Jul 2018 18:30:15 +0200 Subject: [Tshwanelex-l] Video - Time-saving new TLex - tlCorpus linked mode functionality Message-ID: <5B48D397.15008.5C2EFAD@david.joffe.tshwanedje.com> Useful new time-saving functionality: Run tlCorpus corpus software in 'linked mode' with TLex or tlTerm lexicography/terminology software: https://youtu.be/FLhI9Ut0pAk Quick informal demo video showing how to use this new (alpha) functionality - you can run Tlex or tlTerm and tlCorpus in a special 'linked mode' (launch it from the Tools menu in TLex/tlTerm by selecting 'Launch tlCorpus linked') where they can talk to one another, then you can do things like launch a tlCorpus search straight from TLex/tlTerm (via right-clicking in Tree View or lemma list or term list etc.), or right-click on a word anywhere in the search results within tlCorpus and send it to TLex/tlTerm as a new entry, or right-click on a line in the tlCorpus search results and select to auto-add it as a usage example in TLex/tlTerm etc. We're planning to add further useful new functionality on top of this new 'linked mode'.
