It turns out this was seemingly caused by Apple's GateKeeper system not being able to handle Unicode correctly in filenames. We've produced a new 64-bit macOS build under the '2641' subfolder here that hopefully helps fix this issue: https://tshwanedje.com/builds/mac64/ (If 2641 is not available above, click on the highest-numbered subfolder higher than 2641) However, GateKeeper still gives a warning about being unable to check for 'malicious software'. But, it should be possible to now under System Settings -> Security -> General add an exception to allow it to 'open anyway'. A user reports they did get it working on Catalina: 'See image after the paragraph starting with "Prior to macOS Catalina' https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202491 'in Catalina, apparently, you have to go into System Settings ? Security ? General (see image after "In macOS Catalina and macOS Mojave, when an app fails to install" in the link) to find the "open anyway" button ... before Catalina, you might get a warning with a button to open anyway' I'd appreciate to hear from other Catalina users if this helps now using build 2641 or higher, or if any Catalina or other macOS-version-users remain stuck etc. - David
