It's tricky to import Excel if there are different sense structures/hierarchies on each entry (the software can only really easily import Excel if fields are nicely in columns, but detecting hierarchies is a bit more complex) - ideally if I can get a copy of the data I can advise more specifically directly (or perhaps you did already send, I will check). I'll have to analyze the data to advise how best to solve it, and if it's easy or not to solve, as it depends on various things. - David On 19 Mar 2022 at 11:31, einaut at gmail.com wrote: From: To: Date sent: Sat, 19 Mar 2022 11:31:16 +0100 Subject: [Tshwanelex-l] Importing a file with several senses for each entry > Hello, I just registered to this list and I?m wondering if someone could help me with these two > things. > ? > - First, I?ve bought 2 hours of support but I don?t know how to use them. The latest Intel-based Mac releases should also now work under Rosetta on Mac, though if you have an Apple M1 or M2 Mac, it's still better to download the latest M1 builds (currently version .3195): https://tshwanedje.com/builds/mac64/Monterey-M1/ Note that even though it says "M1", it's the correct build for M2 also. Then for Windows: If you're on a computer where you can't use the normal Setup installers for TLex or tlTerm, you may instead try our "portable" builds available as .zip files you should in theory be able to unzip anywhere and run: https://tshwanedje.com/builds/ Some users report these also work with Wine on Linux. You're welcome to keep and save (or share) copies of our installers or the portable build zips. - David ------------------------------ Message: 3 Date: Fri, 09 Sep 2022 22:29:58 +0200 From: "David Joffe" To: tshwanelex-l at mailman.yale.edu Subject: [Tshwanelex-l] 20th anniversary special Message-ID: <631BA246.31982.1590205 at david.joffe.tshwanedje.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Hi, TLex is 20 years old this year, and having a special: Until end September you can get a 20% discount on our software (TLex, tlTerm, tlCorpus, tlDatabase, dictionaries) by using coupon code "tsep2022" if ordered through this order page: https://order.mycommerce.com/product?productid=300375346 Thank you to all our customers who have helped support us over these years - all support is invaluable. - David ------------------------------ Subject: Digest Footer _______________________________________________ Tshwanelex-l mailing list Tshwanelex-l at mailman.yale.edu https://mailman.yale.edu/mailman/listinfo/tshwanelex-l ------------------------------ End of Tshwanelex-l Digest, Vol 49, Issue 1 *******************************************
