*Dearest ViSA,*

Tết is this Saturday! Since the next newsletter will come a smidge too
late, we'd like to wish everyone good health, great career prospects, and
the most unstressful exam season possible. *Chúc mừng năm mới*!

As always, whether it would be your first event or you've been to a million

*Lunar New Year Lunchboxes (& Fun Activities)!*
*SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10TH FROM 1-3PM*

To celebrate Tết, ViSA is collaborating with ARAY, KASY, and SEAM to bring
the lunar new year spirit to you! This *Saturday, February 10th from 1-3pm*,
head on over to the *AACC (first floor)* to make rice cakes, decorate red
envelopes, and gamble all your fake savings away, all while feasting on
some delicious food!

*ViSA Conversation Circles*
*EVERY OTHER SUNDAY FROM 4:30-5:30PM*

Come learn and talk about issues facing the Vietnamese community at
the new *ViSA
conversation circles*! Hosted biweekly in the *AACC's Game Room (second
floor)*, they're a safe space for everyone to share their experiences,
discuss any thoughts, or just listen in. The first meeting will be
this *Sunday,
February 11th from 4:30-5:30pm*. The topic: Vietnamese Conservatism. Snacks
will be provided.

*Community Dinners*
*EVERY OTHER FRIDAY FROM 5:30-6:30PM*

Community dinners are back! Our first community dinner will be this *Friday,
February 9th at Trumbull from 5:30-6:30pm*. Let's rekindle old friendships
and form new ones.

*ViSA Committees*

Want a low-commitment way to get involved with ViSA? Introducing: *ViSA
committees*! Led by a ViSA board member, these groups are a great way to
participate in ViSA however you want, whenever you want. Below are some of
the committees you can sign up for; information for other ones will come
soon.

*Language Table*
*EVERY FRIDAY FROM 12-1PM*

Come practice your Vietnamese with thầy Quang, cô Tuyến, and fellow Viet
students over a meal! There's language table *every Friday in Berkeley
Dining Hall (upstairs) from 12-1pm*. All language levels are welcome (who
doesn't use Vietglish anyways?), and it's very chill.
*TL;DR? Events to look forward to!*
