[Wgcp-whc] a reminder and a congratulations

Dear All,

Just a reminder that the Working Group in Contemporary Poetics will meet for a
special session tomorrow (Monday the 10th) and we will be joined by leading
French poet Jean-Marie Gleize.  We will meet from 10-11.30 and we will convene
in our ususl room--WHC Rm 116, not in Rm 208 (as was reported previously).  We
will discuss Gleize's work with him, as well as Ponge, contemporary French
poetry, and the Tel Quel influence on the anti-lyric tradition.

Also, let me pass on the good news that one of our group's co-ordinators has
recently been promoted to associate professor of the French department. 
Obviously, his efforts to his department, his contributions to Yale's
intellectual community, and his service to international contemporary poetics
have not gone unnoticed.  Join us in passing on congratulations to
Jean-Jacques.
