Subject: Yo! Quick Question - Yale Lecture 2/23/06
	Date: Mon, 20 Feb 2006 09:43:43 -0800

	Dear friends and colleagues -
I'm lecturing at Yale's Art Department on February 23rd from
	my book Rhythm Science.

As some of you may know, the Chair of Yale's Art Department,
Peter Halley, did the web response to Rhythm Science - it's
	available at www.rhythmscience.com

The lecture will focus on some of the art historical
implications of digital media, sampling, and collage based
composition in a fine arts context.

	THURSDAY
	FEBRUARY 23, 2006
	TIME: 12:30pm - 1:30pm

Moderated by Steven Madoff, Professor of Art, Yale
	University

	Yale University School of Art
	Holcombe T. Green, Jr. Hall,
	1156 Chapel Street
	http://www.yale.edu/art/location.html

	www.rhythmscience.com

Also - Rhythm Science has pretty much been one of MIT
Press's top selling books for the last year, and it's in its
6th edition! In less than a year and a half!!!!

It's being taught at Yale, Harvard, and at places as remote
as University of Sao Paulo to Tokyo, and Tunis, Tunisia, and
	Victoria University, New Zealand.

My next book Sound Unbound is done. It includes new
perspectives on music and art from people as diverse as The
Dalai Lama, Steve Reich, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Brian Eno, Cory
Doctorow, Afrika Bambaataa, Moby, Simon Reynolds, Erik Davis
, Naeem Mohaimen, and many others. There will be a CD and
	DVD to accompany the book.

	More soon,

Paul aka Dj Spooky that Subliminal Kid
