Please join us for the second Beinecke Library Small Press Open Reading Room on Thursday, November 14th. A variation on last year's event, this year will offer an open-house style opportunity to read and handle recent publications by Ugly Duckling Presse, Wave Books, and Flying Object, and the chance to talk with key representatives from each press: Guy Pettit of Flying Object (Hadley, MA) , Joshua Beckman of Wave Books (Seattle), Matvei Yankelevich of Ugly Duckling Presse (NYC). Come survey the state of the art in alternative literary publications and contemporary poetry and prose at the Beinecke Library and talk with three editors/publishers/writing working at the leading edge of American literature.

The event program will unfold as follows:
3:30pm--reading room open for browsing
4:30pm-introduction and brief remarks from visiting publishers, followed by informal q & a
additional browsing and conversation until 5:30pm
5:30-6:30pm--post-event pizza party in Beinecke Staff Lounge
