Dear Friends,

Just a reminder that we are meeting today, Friday, Dec 5, at 3 PM - 5 PM for our second session devoted to the work of Frank Bidart—specifically his most recent book, Metaphysical Dog, along with an as yet unpublished poem (forthcoming in Poetry Magazine) entitled “The Fourth Hour of the Night.” We will be joined by the poet himself for today’s conversation. An important note: the session will be in room 208 of the Whitney Humanities Center. That’s upstairs on the second floor at the end of the hall.

At our last session (two weeks ago) we drafted a series of questions. I’m attaching these. The questions are merely prompts for conversation and give a general sketch of of previous discussion. Remember, the session is open to all, so do feel free to spread word to any interested parties.

Onward,
Richard Deming, Co-cordinator
