Announcing WTI Distinguished Seminar Series with Netta Cohen, PhD on 11/02/2022 at 3:00pm in Dome Room (SHM I500)

Netta Cohen is a Professor of Complex Systems at the University of Leeds. Dr. Cohen studied physics at Columbia University and obtained her doctorate from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. Her research lies at the interface of physics, biology and engineering and combines biological experiments, mathematical modelling and biorobotic applications. Much of her work on complex systems links structure and function across scales, from error correction in DNA transcription, through the emergence of rhythm in heart tissue, to neural control of behavior in invertebrates. Her recent work on the brain organization of C. elegans provides a multiscale framework interpreting a complete connectome.
