Dear Yale colleagues,

The Kavli Institute for Neuroscience at Yale is inviting you to attend the 2023 Kavli Workshop on Social Behaviors on Monday, December 11th, 2023, from 1 to 5:30 pm (Hope 110, YSM campus). There has been an increase in research interest in studying the neural bases of social cognition. In this multi-disciplinary event, investigators studying neural mechanisms of social behaviors in different species (humans, nonhuman primates, rodents) and at different levels (areas, circuits, cell types) will get together to discuss how their work informs one another. This workshop will feature the Keynote address by Dr. Dayu Lin from NYU and the work of six Yale researchers utilizing naturalistic social interactions using a wide arrange of technical approaches in multiple species and at different levels of analysis.

A panel-based discussion session will be followed by interactions among researchers during a reception.
