Are you a postdoctoral neuroscientist ready to share your research and broaden your network as you take your next career step? The you should apply to the inaugural ZIPS·X symposium! The goal of ZIPS·X is to promote, connect, and provide networking opportunities for late-stage postdoctoral researchers from external institutions at Columbia University's Zuckerman Institute. Priority will be given to postdoctoral researchers from historically marginalized groups in science: Women, Non-Binary, Trans, and Intersex.

The tentative seminar date is on May 11, 2023
ZIPS·X is an all day in-person neuroscience postdoctoral research symposium in the Zuckerman Institute at Columbia University, encompassing:
1. Morning session of participant talks, in which participants must plan to give a 20-minute talk, which will be followed by a 10 minute Q&A.
2. Afternoon lunch with Zuckerman trainees.
3. Afternoon session of meetings with select faculty, with the goal of forming long-lasting mentoring relationships.
4. Social with Zuckerman trainees and faculty.
Participants must provide a title, abstract, current CV, and three keywords describing your science/planned talk. The graphical abstract is encouraged, but not required.
The selected participants will be provided an honorarium, and food and travel will be covered!
