Hi everyone,

We are delighted to introduce the WTI SPC Scientific Interest Groups for trainees!

We aim to provide a centralized space for the larger WTI community to come together, share their research interests and challenges, and stimulate intellectual discussions and collaborations.

We are now reaching out to the broader community to join the Scientific Interest Groups. (For people who responded to the initial survey, we will invite you to the Slack space shortly.)

We ask that you fill out a short survey (<2min) so we can understand your needs. We are initially asking if you are interested in any of the following options:
1. Connecting with people with similar research interests
2. Connecting with people from a different field (e.g., an experimentalist connecting with theoreticians)
3. Join any existing groups

We will match people according to their goals and encourage groups to self-organize journal clubs, coffee chats, and other activities. The matching process will be rolling so new and incoming respondees can be integrated into existing groups.
