An exciting opportunity for graduate students and postdocs in theoretical neuroscience to share their work, explore the latest advances, network with colleagues and generally have a good time!

In this "by the students, for the students" meeting, attendees will give short research talks as well as in-depth 45-minute tutorials on theoretical techniques relevant to their work. Tutorials will be presented white board style to encourage uninhibited and detailed technical discussion, a deeper understanding of the diverse techniques used in modern theoretical neuroscience, and hopefully a stronger sense of community. We see this as a unique learning opportunity for everyone involved and intend for it to be an enjoyable experience.

We are interested in those who will be able to follow the intense schedule and actively contribute to discussions. In order to maintain a small group atmosphere, allowing for extensive interactions and presentations by everyone, space at the workshop is limited. To be considered, applicants must provide:

  *   Research Abstract
  *   Tutorial Abstract
  *   Answers to two Scientific Thought Questions
  *   Current CV
  *   PI Recommendation Letter
Application deadline: June 20, 2024 (11:59 p.m. ET)

Meals, accommodations and travel support are provided for accepted participants. We especially encourage applications from females and those who identify with groups that are traditionally underrepresented in science.
