NeuroAI trainees - see the quick and anonymous survey request below.

Current or recent trainees (student/postdoc/RA/early industry position) interested in the intersection of neuro and AI in some way are invited to participate.

The data will be used to write a publication outlining neuro-AI trainees' training needs and recommendations for addressing them. Researchers at the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, and the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases may access these data.

Dear Colleagues,

My name is Dr. Andrea Luppi, and I am a researcher at the University of Oxford.

I am writing on behalf of a group of early-career researchers working in NeuroAI. Given recent high-profile calls for greater training in NeuroAI, we are conducting a short survey for NeuroAI trainees, to understand how they can best be supported in their development, and what challenges they face. Our hope is to use the results to support a peer-reviewed publication, written by trainees and for trainees, that will also inform educational offerings in neuroscience, AI, and their intersection.

Yale's Wu Tsai Institute, due its explicit focus on NeuroComputation and Machine Intelligence, has come to our attention as one of the most prominent institutions where neuroscience and AI converge - and where many current or prospective NeuroAI trainees may be working.

So, we kindly ask for your help in disseminating this survey to current and recent trainees in your institution, by sharing it through internal communications (internal bulletins, mailing list) for students, postdocs and early career researchers. However, please *do not* share on publicly accessible social media channels, to avoid bots.

The survey is quick and entirely anonymous. Anyone who is interested in the intersection of neuro and AI in some way and is a current or recent trainee (student/postdoc/RA/early industry position) is invited to take part.

We hope that you will help us to achieve our goal of improving the experience of NeuroAI trainees, by helping us to give a voice to as many trainees as possible.
